Princess Mabelrose and Spiky, of Rod Espinosa's "The Courageous Princess" --
one of my favorite comics from Antarctic Press

Ah, these are the things I find most entertaining in my
little world ^_^.  Still very much being a kid at heart,
I love comics, cartoons, anime, movies, and the usual
gamut of kiddie-type things.  So have a gander at
these things and maybe they'll make you happy like they
make me happy, enjoy!

(ones marked with a * can be clicked on for more information)

I've been into comics my whole life!  Used to buy Marvel regularly, until their story arcs got so utterly comfusing and intertwined that I moved onto manga and DC stuff.  Below are the comics I now enjoy reading regularly and the ones I still enjoy from collecting over the years.

The Authority
by Wildstorm Comics

They'll save the world, no matter how many people they have to kill to do it.

Batman : Gotham
Adventures by DC Comics

Short stories of the Dark Knight and his posse on a smart and very human scale.

Gold Digger
by Antarctic Press
*

Join the treasure hunting adventures of buxom genius Gina Diggers and her were-cheetah sister Britanny!

Hitman
by DC Comics

Tommy Monaghan : hired gun with x-ray vision, telepathy, and a Catholic upbringing.

The Courageous Princess
by Antarctic Press
*

Follow the journey of Princess Mablerose as she ventures home from the clutches of an evil dragon.

The Nodwick Chronicles
by Dork Storm Press
*

Journey with hired henchman Nodwick as he totes and schleps for a trio of somewhat offbeat adventurers.

Inu-Yasha
by VIZ

An otherworldly fairy tale of ancient and modern Japan

The Dirty Pair
by Dark Horse Comics

See action, violence, and scantily clad WWWA agents Kei and Yuri on a planet-obliterating scale!

Preacher
by DC Comics / Vertigo

What do you when God abandons Heaven?  Jesse Custer will hunt him down and make him admit it to the world, even if it kills Him.

Sandman
by DC Comics / Vertigo

Dreams have real power, as you find whenever you enter his realm upon sleep, and unfortunately forget as you wake.

Battle Angel
by VIZ

Gally, a cyborg killing machine, must find her origins and her memories and if possible her humanity.

Watchmen
by DC Comics

Superheroes watch the world, but who watches them?  An excellent look at how the world would be if they truly walked among us.

Blade of the Immortal
by Dark Horse

Manji, an immortal swordsman of ancient Japan, must slay one- thousand wrongdoers to earn the right to die.

Ranma 1/2
by VIZ

Ranma Soatome, martial arts master, unrivaled epitome of physical perfection, and cursed to turn into a girl when doused with cold water.

JLA (Grant Morrison)
by DC Comics

From the creative mind of Grant Morrison, the world's greatest superheroes challenge odds beyond your wildest imaginations.

Granted, I like a LOT of movies.  So I won't bore you with a million of them, just eight of my favorites ^_^.

The Shawshank Redemption

My favorite movie of all time.  A man wrongfully accused of murder must find hope in a lifetime of prison.

The Godfather trilogy

The dramatic tale of a crime family stretched over the course of that family's life.

Princess Mononoke

A beautifully animated movie set in a time when the spirits of the past must confront the progress of mankind.

The Original Star Wars trilogy

The greatest science fiction series ever told.  Nuff said.
(note : this does NOT include episode One =P)

Tom Hanks movies

From Philidelphia to Forrest Gump, to Apollo 13 and Saving Private Ryan and The Green Mile, the movies of Tom Hanks are all worth watching many times over.

Starship Troopers

A sci-fi action marvel, join the Roughnecks as they defend our planet's freedoms from insect invaders in good-old World War II newsreel style!

Braveheart

Truly a grand epic, it is the poignant story of William Wallace as he leads the people of Scotland to their freedom against the British.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Fun and an adventurous thrill ride, watching Indiana Jones and his dad outwit Nazis and uncover the Holy Grail is the perfect Father's Day viewing!

Ah, a total addiction for me!  My main favorites are long storyarc-style RPGs, though the odd fighting game still gives me a rush.

The Resident Evil series

Yes, a 3rd-person adventure series so utterly scary I honstly have trouble playing it at night =P (and I love it)!.  Follows the Stars SWAT team and their struggles against the living dead (and worse).

The Street Fighter series

Always a classic with me : who is the world's strongest fighter?!

Soul Calibur

Probably my favorite 3D fighter, medieval one-on-one at its best!  Flawless animations and so much bonus material that the game is just as valuable after you've beaten everything possible!

EverQuest

More addicting than cocaine, it's the world best and most well-developed 24-hour continuous massively multiplayer online RPG (and I'm not just baised because I've worked for them ^_^)!

Mario 64

Even after all this time, the adventures of an Italian plumber trying to save a mushroom princess from a fat dragon are still one of the most fun games to play!

Planescape : Torment

I love this one mainly because it is an absolutely unparalleled representation of the AD&D Planescape RPG campaigns, a lot of fun with some utterly beautiful artwork.

The Final Fantasy series

It's hard to get more epic than the incredible Final Fantasy series, each story different from the last except for one recurring theme : you must stop the end of the world.

StarCraft : Brood War

One of the best strategy games out there, StarCraft : Brood War is an amazing game of tactics and strategy utilizing three different races and more technology than you can throw a stick at.

A number of years ago this list would have been a LOT longer.  But I don't really watch as much TV as I used to (must be old age ^_^) so here's just my tried and true favorites.

Mystery Science Theater 3000

The funniest TV series I've ever known, marvel as one one guy in a jumpsuit and his robot companions rip on every bad movie you can imagine!

Star Trek : Deep Space Nine

My favorite out of the Star Trek dynasty, this installment of the series pits a lone space station and the Federation in a war against the Dominion.

Quantum Leap

Sam Beckett leaps from life to life through time, striving to put right what once went wrong.  A very original and heartfelt series.

Law and Order

My favorite courtroom-style drama series, this show is a long-running favorite of mine on A&E.

Babylon 5

One of the best original sci-fi series on television, it like DS9 pits a central space station as the main fortress in a war against universal forces of evil.
