Tork B'Drunk

Tork was born on the outskirts of the town of Oggok.  However, his own birth was seen as a sacrilege amongst his own kin.  Tork’s father, Rejek, was a legendary warlord having thought many battles defending the ogre town.  His mother Lilith, on the other hand, was a human from the town of Freeport.  They met on one of Rejek’s campaigns, and kept a secret relationship for years.  Sadly, the secret was discovered when Tork was nothing more then a child.  Disapproving of this unnatural union, the ogres hired an assassin to put an end to Lilith’s existence.  Deeply saddened by her death, Rejek wandered into the temple of Cazic Thule never to be seen again.  Not knowing what to do, Tork ran from his homelands.  Drowning his sorrows with the flask of tadpole ale he brought with him, he was soon discovered by a travelling barbarian.  Taken under his wing, he raised Tork like his own for many years.  Even renaming him Tork B’Drunk from the condition he was first found in.  He taught him many things, including how to keep neutral opinion of other races.  Time past and Tork grew into a powerful shaman.  Before leaving his new home, his trainer gave him a mystical hammer, which he got from an encounter with Innoruuk a long time ago.  Hammer at hand, Tork wanders the land of Norath in search of his mother’s assassin.

Though physically completely ogre (like all offspring from at least one ogre parent), Tork shows signs of both his parents in his personality.  He is caring and humorous with travellers. However, he angers easily when provoked and possesses more then enough strength to deal with his adversaries.  Moreover, he enjoys company and drinks avidly (even in the heat of battle). Tork also has a tendency to get hungry very easily due to his immense size, and often has to be reminded his hunting partners, particularly the smaller ones like dwarves and gnomes, are not finger foods...
